Walmart tested its Covid QuickCheck™ Rapid test in Canada this week and the company said it was pleased with the results.
“We’re excited to announce that the Covid QQuickCheck™ QuickCheck is being tested in Canada by Walmart, with a focus on ensuring that our employees receive the highest possible level of service,” the company wrote in a blog post.
“This test will be conducted on our Vancouver campus, where we are committed to helping our employees feel comfortable and confident in the face of new and potentially dangerous conditions.”
The company said Covid is the only test that can detect the virus and it can be used to monitor patients and workers in the workplace.
“In addition to the Covis test, we also offer the Covas-specific Rapid test to verify Covid status,” Walmart said.
“Our CovidQQuickCheck test is designed to help employees who are experiencing symptoms, such as nausea and fatigue, to confirm their Covid diagnosis.”
The CovidQuickCheck Rapid test can be administered by trained health care providers or at home, or is easy to administer by the customer.
“The Covis-specific QuickCheck test was developed by Dr David W. Brown and Dr Peter P. Smith and can be purchased for $25 and is currently only available in the US.
Walmart added that it will continue to test its CovisQQuickQ test in other countries in addition to Canada.
The Covids rapid test can also be used by hospitals, doctors and other healthcare providers, and is used to detect and detect the most serious Covid cases.
In November, Walmart announced that it would be testing Covid-free products, with tests to detect the coronavirus, the cold, flu and other colds to be offered by the end of March.
